FAQ’s

For escorted coach tours, you cannot choose between different classes. You must stick to the same class hotels throughout your tours.

However, for self-guided packages you may be able to substitute different hotels in each destination. Just check with our team of experts and we can recommend the best hotel for your dream holiday!

In some tours we list multiple hotels in the same class and destination. We do so as to display the most common hotels we use on our tour. As always, these hotels are a guide only and subject to change. Where we need to use a different hotel than that which we list, we endeavour to use hotels with a similar class.

Thank you to Jerry

Review for: Classical Tour with Meteora

My husband and I were booked on a lovely 4 day Classic Tour of Greece through our agent Helloworld. Unfortunately on the 3rd night my husband became seriously ill and required medical attention. Thomas, our guide very kindly took us to the medical clinic in Kalambaka and from there Anthony was transferred by ambulance to the General Hospital in Trikala. The very next morning I had a message from Jerry Theodossis of Sun Island Tours enquiring about my husband's health. Jerry was amazing - he went over and above anything I would have expected - he arranged for transport on a Go Tour bus back to Athens (if needed) and organised retrieval of our bags in the hotel in Athens to the hospital my husband had been transferred to in Larissa. It was 3 weeks before we were able to travel and return to Athens but we were so impressed with Jerry and the assistance and support he gave to us, we visited him in his office in Athens to say THANK YOU personally. Jerry takes great pride in his role of welcoming guests to Athens and environs and ensures it is a positive and memorable experience for all. We highly recommend this tour and hope to be able to complete it one day. Sophia & Anthony Santamaria

My sister and I recently booked a holiday in Greece

Review for: Classical Tour with Meteora

My sister and I recently booked a holiday in Greece through Clinton Turk at FlightCentre, Toowong, Queensland (Australia). Clinton liaised with your colleague(s) at Sun Island Tours and again with Sunquest Tours in Athens. We would just like to express our gratitude as the two weeks were amazing. Your assistance with the accommodation, transfers, tours etc were excellent. We had chosen to stay at Hotel Adrian in the Plaka, Athens, due to its ratings, reviews and position. The staff were very courteous and the breakfast they offer on the rooftop overlooking the Acropolis with its fresh orange juice and coffee made it perfect. Your assistance made everything work like Clockwork. The same applies to the hotel Tzekos in Santorini, with its view of the Caldora. There were lots of stairs but walking up and down enabled us to justify the cocktails. What an amazing island. We hired a moped and explored the island ourselves. The hotels you chose near Olympia and Delphi were amazing too. We had the best position and View! (Other people on the tour who had obviously booked elsewhere, went to another hotel...but ours was, as I said, the best. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and handled us all well. Delphi is a must see, as is Meterora. Thanks also for the Hydrofoil bookings and transfers.
