On arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
Transfer to Cairo Airport for flight to Luxor (flight included). Transfer to cruise vessel. Afternoon tour of the East Bank of Luxor and the Karnak Temples. Overnight onboard.
Morning visit to the West Bank including the Valley of the Kings, Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. Sail across the river Nile, reach Esna Lock. Cross the lock and continue sailing to Edfu.
In Edfu, visit the Temple of Horus. Sail to Kom Ombo and visit the temples of Sobek and Horus. Continue sailing to Aswan.
Tour Aswan with the High Dam, Unfinished Obelisk and Philae Temple. Experience a short adventure trip on the Nile by a Felucca (small boat).
Disembark the vessel and transfer to Aswan airport for a flight to Cairo (flight included). Transfer to your hotel.
Full day tour of Cairo. Visit the famous Egyptian Museum and the Giza plateau to see the Pyramids and the Sphinx.
Morning tour of Cairo including the Citadel of Salah El Din, Mohamed Ali Mosque and the Khan El Khalili bazaar.
Transfer to Cairo airport for your flight to Tel Aviv (flight included). Transfer to your hotel.
Drive for a visit of the port city of Jaffa (Joppa) where we will take a short walking tour in picturesque alleys of the old, fortified town. We will pass by the house of Simon the Tanner and marvel at the views from the hill top. We drive north along the coastal road – Via Maris, to the archaeological ruins of Caesarea, built by Herod the Great in honour of Augustus Caesar. From here we go on to visit Megiddo where the book of Revelations mentions a great battle at the place called “Armageddon”, an ancient city inhabited continuously for more than five millennia (6000-500 B.C.). After exploring the ancient ruins, we drive toward the Sea of Galilee, stopping at Cana to visit the Wedding Church where Jesus performed his first miracle, turning water into wine. Arrive at Tiberias and check-in to your hotel. Overnight in Tiberias.
Travel to Capernaum, the centre of Jesus’ ministry. Continue to Tabgha and the Church of Multiplication and its mosaic floor. Drive to the Mount of Beatitudes where Jesus preached the Sermon on the Mount. Ascend to the Golan Heights for a panoramic view. Visit Banias, one of the sources of the Jordan River. Visit the Yardenit Baptismal Site. Return to Tiberias. Overnight in Tiberias.
Sail on a boat on the Sea of Galilee. Travel to Nazareth. Visit the Church of Annunciation, St. Joseph’s workshop and Mary’s Well. Visit the ancient synagogue at Beit Alpha. Drive through the Jordan Valley, passing by Jericho. Continue to Jerusalem. Overnight in Jerusalem.
Travel to Masada, ascending by cable car to tour the ancient fortress. Visit the ancient city of Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. Continue to the Dead Sea for a swim. Return to Jerusalem.
Visit the Israel Museum including the Shrine of the Book which houses the Dead Sea Scrolls. Visit Ein Karem, where John the Baptist was born. Proceed to the Holocaust memorial of Yad Vashem. Continue to Bethlehem* and visit the Church of the Nativity and Manger Square. Return to Jerusalem.
*Bethlehem is under the Palestinian Authority Jurisdiction, subject to security conditions on day of visit.
Enter the Old City of Jerusalem. See the Western Wall and Temple Mount. Walk the Via Dolorosa, to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Visit the Tomb of King David and the Room of the Last Supper on Mt. Zion. Drive to the Mount of Olives for a panoramic view. Visit the Garden of Gethsemane.
Depart Jerusalem for Jordan. Proceed to the ancient Roman city of Jerash. Drive to Amman for a panoramic city tour.
Depart for Mt Nebo, the traditional burial place of Moses, for views of the Jordan Valley. Continue to Petra. Walk, or ride on horseback to the Siq. Walk through the Siq into Petra. Visit the Treasury, tomb of a Nabatean King, the amphitheatre, and the Altar. Overnight in Petra.
Drive to Wadi Rum. Drive through the desert landscape on a jeep safari. Continue to Madaba to visit the remains of the Byzantine church with its ancient mosaic floor map. Return to Amman.
After breakfast, leave the hotel and drive to the border. Cross the Jordan River and drive back to Tel Aviv. Overnight in Tel Aviv.
Transfer to Tel Aviv airport. End of services.
