Located on the southeastern tip of the Arabian peninsula and made up of seven different Emirates. Abu Dhabi is the capital and is one of the most modern cities. Another Emirate is the cosmopolitan Dubai with its famous architecture, luxury hotels and amazing shopping centres.
Climate Chnage: Abu Dhabi temperatures can soar to 43°C in the summer months of April to October. November through March offers a pleasant climate. Dubai has sunny days most of the year. The average temperature in January is 24°C and can rise to 41°C in July.

Visa: Australian passport holders can obtain a ‘Visit Visa’ upon arrival, which is a non working visa valid for 60 days.
Getting there: Etihad and Singapore Airlines fly into Abu Dhabi. Emirates, Singapore Airlines and Thai Airways International fly direct. Etihad fly into Abu Dhabi (one hour transfer to Dubai serviced by the airline).
