Ugrup is located 20 km east of Nevsehir, in the Cappadocia region.
This is where some travelers base themselves when visiting Cappdocia, as its close by to Goreme this is a perfect spot to stay if your looking for something not overly touristy.
The center of Urgup has local and tourist shops, Hamam(Turkish Bath), view Temenni Hill (a high rock ledge overlooking the town), hot air ballooning and some nice local restaurants.
The most interesting part of this area Urgup are the old houses carved of Cappadocian stone.
