On 25 April 1915, Australians led a multi-national amphibious attack on Turkey when they landed on beaches around a small cove on the western shore of the Gallipoli Peninsula. The eight and a half month campaign that followed has become a defining period in history for both Australia and Turkey, creating landmarks such as ANZAC Cove, Shrapnel Valley and Lone Pine Cemetery. In 2011, be part of remembering the first major military engagement fought by Australian and New Zealand Forces with our ANZAC Gallipoli tours. Our ANZAC ceremony tours in Gallipoli remind us of our past generations and what they fought for in Gallipoli.

Sun Island Tours' 2011 ANZAC Gallipoli Tours are carefully created incorporating detailed touring with experienced guides and ideal accommodation. The ANZAC tours have been refined over the years through constant moulding by clients and guides comments and expectations.

Stand along side some of the bravest men of history, see the scattered graves of 183 soldiers at Lone Pine Cemetary.

Johnston's Jolly stands is located in the Northern Part of Plateau 400 in Anzac Peninusula. Johnston's Jolly was named commander of the 2nd Australian Division Artillery, Brigadier-General G J Johnston. The position was reached by the 2nd Australian Infantry Brigade on 25 April 1915 but lost the next day and it was never retaken.

This is a very emotional historical place of history, you will be moved by the graves of those named/unnamed soldiers who died in war, this is a place of reflection, a place of realisation of exactly what was lost back in April 1915.
