Go diving in the crystal clear waters of the Red Sea where you can observe the marine life in its natural environment. Allow your body to float majestically in the Dead Sea whilst you let the salty water rid your body of all its aches and pains.

Take a camel ride or a 4WD through the unique desert of Wadi Rum, where remnants of the Bedouin tribes can be seen through the ancient rock drawings. Explore the enchanting city of Petra, which was settled 2000 years ago. Here you will find the Treasury, standing over 40 meters high and carved out of solid rock, it remains the main attraction in Jordan.

Climate Chnage: The summer periods between May to October can be hot and dry with temperatures increasing the further south you travel. The winter months can be cold with temperatures dropping to 8°C.

Currency: Jordanian Dinar (JOD).

Electricity: UK and European Plug.

Visa: Australian passport holders require a visa in order to enter Jordan. Visas can be obtained from the Jordanian Embassy or Consulate prior to departing Australia for approx $33AUD, otherwise they can be obtained upon your arrival 15JD.
