This city has been described as 'The world's greatest open air museum.' On the east bank you will find Luxor and Karnak Temple - the largest ancient religious site in the world and also the Luxor Museum.
On the West bank you will find the Valley of the Kings, The Colossi of Memnon and Queen Hatshepsuts temple which honours the longest living female Pharaoh of Egypt. Her temple is well preserved and is a must when visiting Luxor.
