Climate Chnage: Best described as hot and dry the weather is usually hot in the summer months of April to October with temperatures averaging 30°C. Whereas the winter period it can be cooler with temperatures averaging 20°C.
Currency: Egyptian Pound (EGP) although USD is widely accepted.
Electricity: European Plug.
Visa: Australian passport holders require a visa in order to enter Egypt. Visas can be obtained from the Egyptian Consulate prior to departing Australia for approx 40AUD; otherwise it can be obtained at the airport upon your arrival for approx 15USD.
