Makarska is located on the Adriatic coast of Dalmatia, approximately 60km southeast of Split and 140lm northwest of Dubrovnik.
Makarska has many churches, galleries and museums to get the cultural influence of the area, but it is the palmed promenade, cafes, bars and boutiques that overlook the harbour that bring in the tourists.
One of the first things you notice in Makarska is Biokovo a large mountain where you can see breathtaking views of Makarska Riviera .
Numerous pebble beaches' with cocktail bars and the nightlife attracts the youth into Makarska, it also hosts music and folklore evenings as well as traditional summer carnivals.
