Sun Island Tours was established in 1990 as a niche wholesaler for Greece, Cyprus and Turkey. Numerous brochures have been produced through the years with emphasis on travel services in the Mediterranean and Middle Eastern regions. The company was the first to include Cyprus in a travel brochure.
In 2004 Sun Island Tours was restructured, with the view to provide personalised travel consulting services. We recognise the need to supply the travellers and agents with extended products as well as impeccable service and specialised advice. We have now become one of the leading Australian wholesalers for travel to the Mediterranean and Middle Eastern regions. Our products and knowledge expand to suit any travellers requirements, expanding outside our tariff to feature a range of accommodation, tours, cruises and packages.
In 2010 Sun Island Tours reintroduced Israel into the programme featuring both
package and coach tours. Qatar was also introduced as a stopover, as to were
Bangkok and Singapore to facilitate the stopovers of our airline partners;
Singapore Airlines, Thai Airways International, Emirates and Etihad.
In every country Sun Island Tours cooperate with local agencies which act as our
representatives. This represents a personal approach every step of the way. Our
overseas suppliers have been carefully selected taking into consideration their
good reputation, years of experience and especially the quality of services.
Most of them have been operating for many years. They assist our clients whilst
abroad. Our representatives speak English and contact clients either in person
or by phone. Some of them are available 24 hours on mobile phone.
